holiday autos acts as a car rental broker and agent for various independent rental companies in the countries in which it operates. Bookings made through holiday autos are subject to these terms and conditions. Please note that the rental of the vehicle will be subject to the law of the country in which it is supplied to you and for this reason you will be required to sign a rental contract with the rental company which supplies the vehicle. You should satisfy yourself that you understand and agree to its terms and conditions, as you will be subject to, and must comply with these terms, and the local law.

holiday autos cannot accept liability for any additional charges, which you sign for and accept locally

holiday autos reserves the right to levy any government increase in local vat that may be introduced after the printing of this brochure.

Any additional charges payable on arrival are subject to local V.A.T. at the prevailing rate in that country.

holiday autos will not be held responsible for anyone driving under the influence of alcohol/drugs, causing wilful damage, off road driving, driving without due care and attention or dangerous driving. The client will accept full responsibility in respect of such claims. This list is not exclusive.

Cars and all offers, including 'the max' are subject to availability, and all information, including prices, is correct as of april 2002.

third party top up insurance

All rentals in the USA and Canada include third party liability insurance which conforms with the statutory minimum required by each state but can be as low as $5,000.

Holiday Autos' prices include excess liability insurance (also known as supplemental liability insurance (SLI)) or extended protection (EP). This offers third party liability insurance above the minimum level of protection increasing your third party protection to $1,000,000 in respect of any claims made against you.

EP) also provides coverage up to $100,000 ( $40,000 in Texas). These benefits are provided to the renter + any family member related by blood, marriage or adoption, who while occupying an alamo rental car sustained bodily injury or death caused by a negligent un-insured/underinsured motorist.Please note that national car rental does not provide UMP.

for australia

mileage

All rentals in metropolitan areas of Australia include unlimited mileage, except for minivans where rates include 200kms per day. In country areas rates include 200 kilometres per day. In remote areas the rates include 100 kilometres. In both cases, excess kilometres are charged at AU $0.25 per km.

deposit

A security deposit of between au$250 and au$1000 depending on car group, is required to be made upon collection of the vehicle. any major credit card in the driver's name is acceptable for this holding deposit.

prestige cars

Minimum driver age is 25. Price includes unlimited mileage except: Ferrari 355 100 miles free per day, £1.00 thereafter per mile. Porsche 996 200 miles free per day, £0.35 thereafter per mile. An insurance excess will be required to be authorised prior to the commencement of the rental.Excess can be between £300 - £2500 depending on the vehicle, please check at time of booking. All these vehicles are available on request

the max

The max includes:

  • a full tank of petrol: Pick up the car with a full tank, and return it empty.
  • an additional named driver
  • no out of hours charges (at airport locations to meet your flight): whether you book a late flight, or find that your flight is delayed, there will be no extra to pay, even if the rental location is normally closed when you pick up or drop off your car.
  • delivery and collection: included at no extra cost at any rental location within a 15km radius (france 5km) and within office hours (not applicable in the usa and canada).
  • one way rentals: can be arranged at no extra cost at any rental location confirmed at the time of booking within the country/island where the car is picked up. Car must be dropped off at a rental location within office hours (not applicable in the usa, canada and south africa).
  • cancellation protection: if you have to cancel your booking before the rental start date, you will be refunded in full.
  • advance registration: reduce time at the counter, by giving us all your details for the rental agreement in advance.Once you have made your booking call holiday autos customer services on with the following information for all named drivers: driving licence, date of birth, home address, contact address during rental, passport number and place/date of issue and credit card details (for lead driver only). This information is required at least 7 working days prior to the rental start date.
